Birgit Meyer (PhD in Cultural Anthropology 1995, University of Amsterdam) was a POLY Short-Term Fellow in the Winter Term 2024/25. In February 2025, she and Birgit Emich took part in a panel discussion on “Religion and Materiality,” exploring the complex relationship between religion and material objects. The discussion was part of POLY's “Frankfurter Religionsgespräche,” a series of interdisciplinary discussions devoted to fundamental questions and current topics in the study of religion.
